Meet Alaena
Alaena Bateman, Occupational Therapist (OT), is the founder of Parkinson’s Ability Community and the clinical lead of Fireweed Therapy in Anchorage, Alaska.
She brings eight years of experience working with people with Parkinson’s across roles as a CNA, OT, PWR! and LSVT BIG-certified clinician, and Rock Steady Boxing coach.
- Occupational therapist: focused on the daily-life side of Parkinson’s care
- Movement-trained: PWR! and LSVT BIG-certified, plus Rock Steady Boxing coaching experience
